If you’re a smart, experienced, passionate, technologist who really enjoys working in the mobile/wireless space – we want you! The position is for a Technical Manager of Wireless Software Development to lead our wireless team in beautiful Denver, Colorado.

The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following qualifications:

Development:
• Java/J2ME experience (required)
• BREW (desired)
• Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) application development (desired)
• Subversion/ANT (or comparable source code management experience desired)
• C/C++, API and Server development experience (desired)
• Multi-Threaded experience/knowledge a plus

Software Development Process:
• Experience with full SDLC; designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and implementing software is required.
• Able to vet and occasionally be hands-on on the definition of test plans.
• Accurately estimate development time and cost.
• Anticipate changes to a product specification or schedule as they become necessary during a development cycle
• Capability to keep projects on track and see them through to completion
• Agile development experience/knowledge a plus
• Scrum experience a plus

Management/Leadership:
• Ability to manage work involving both internal development teams and external vendors.
• Ability to lead/affect change
• Ability to coach/mentor junior developers

General:
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Successful at working closely with business stakeholders
• Ability to work as an interface between business stakeholders and other development teams and identify necessary component/system modifications highly desired

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other hard sciences preferred. Candidate should also possess at least 5+ years of professional development experience. Position is 50% development and 50% leadership.
