Description:

Perform repairs on all major cell site components. Provide technical assistance as requested. Work with vendors, on acceptance of equipment ensuring all work is being done to engineering specifications. Work with minimal supervision. Assumes 24 hour on call duty when assigned. Must maintain an acceptable driving record. Work locations are both indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 2 years related technical training or equivalent experience.
• Must be willing to work day, evening or night hours; overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends and holidays as required.
• Must assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned.
• Requires valid state driver’s license.
• May require security check.
• Must have satisfactory job performance on current position, relating to work performance, attendance, and safety…
• This position is classified as a driving position. Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record and meet the minimum requirements of the Company’s driving policy.

Should have a good knowledge of :

• Network transport maintenance such as T1 / DS3 testing.
• True Position LMU
• Antenna testing and diagnosis.
• Cell site power systems
