Responsibilities

Conducts and facilitates general and specific training courses for Retail Sales and Indirect channel employees across the KSMO region and periodically across the Midwest Area for the development of sales skills, sales new hire training, marketing/new product roll-outs, and billing and point of sale systems training.  Coordinates of resources and training materials.  Analyzes course evaluations for effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.

Successful candidate must be located in Saint Louis, MO market office.  Travel will be required.
1. 65% Training facilitation:  Demonstrates necessary fundamental training concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure learning transfer and reinforcement.  Topics may include new hire orientation, new product training and/or service launches, functional training, etc.

2. 10% Program evaluation:  Evaluates the effectiveness of the training conducted and reports the results and feedback to management, other internal clients, and the curriculum development staff.  Monitors on-line training and certification performance; provide weekly updates to assigned district to achieve 95% target.

3. 20% Conducts key administrative duties including adhering to all budget guidelines, developing all necessary reports, coordinating or organizing monthly training schedules based on client requests and needs assessments.  Tracking amd monitoring of participant attendance.

4. 5% Builds effective relationships with the regional and/or Area-wide key clients and teams.  Coordinates with Area and project team leaders to provide updates to existing curricula and communicate changes to team.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have minimum 2 years successful sales experience in which they regularly met or exceeded quota.  2 year formal training preferred.  Time management, ability to work with minimal supervision and leadership skills required.
• Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Adult Learning and Development  preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Windows 2000 or higher, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
• Comprehensive knowledge of  Verizon Wireless systems (Vision, NetACE, eROES and Outlook), Internet and intranet.
• Ability to demonstrate high degree of professionalism, flexibility, and integrity.  Proven track record of strong work ethic required.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to interact with, instruct participants to help employees excel is critical to success.
• Requires a minimum of two years of functional expertise with a proven track record of successful performance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall team success.

Must be able to travel out of town as required (may be up to 60% of the time).  Some weekends and early morning training activities required.
