Description:
Participate in a senior role involved in development of embedded software for Cisco Wireless LAN products (IEEE 802.11 WLAN), with focus on network processor based wireless data forwarding architecture, design and development. Following are the required skill set for this position
Responsibilities & Skills required:

• Good knowledge on embedded software. At least one year experience with Linux programming. IOS Knowledge is a plus.
• Working knowledge and/or experience with Network Processor based design, development and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on Wireless LAN (802.11)
• Good knowledge on L2/L3 network protocol, such as DHCP, ARP, NAT, VLAN, IP routing and switching.
• Strong knowledge on C programming.
• Software development with quality in mind.
• Troubleshooting issues and customer support experience.
• Good communication/influence skill and ability to lead/mentor/coach other team members.
• Requires MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10 yrs related experience.
• Willing to learn and self motivated.
• Experience with AMCC or Intel Network Processor firmware is a big plus.
