Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for all aspects of corporate owned markets and locations including leadership/management of Area Managers.
  • Ensure profitability of the markets through prudent implementation of all strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Formulate short and long-range operating objectives, practices and programs based upon clear understanding of the markets and in line with a wireless company strategy.
  • Ensure understanding of the financial status of the markets and monitor progress daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Ensure that community relationships are being built and local store marketing is being executed on a regular basis, in addition plan and execute promotional/marketing activities.
  • Spend quality time in each store observing managers, associates and troubleshooting, analyzing and identifying opportunities in the operations.
  • Oversee human resources, staffing and training for each market. Work with managers to analyze labor distribution to ensue adequate and proper staffing and training for each location.
  • Coach and develop Area Managers, holding them accountable for results in the markets in which they lead.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to be a leader in change management.
  • Strong management development skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of strategic operations management experience in the wireless retail industry is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of retail operations.

Education Required:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in related field.
