Our Wireless Strategy & Business Development team plays a pivotal role in originating, structuring, negotiating and maintaining significant and complex long term strategic relationships with wireless carriers as well as wireless service and technology providers in North and South America.

We are looking for a Director of Wireless Business Development who will be responsible for maintaining, building and developing our growing strategic relationships with wireless companies. The candidate will report to the Vice President, Wireless Strategy & Business Development. The candidate will be responsible for establishing new relationships, managing existing relationships, negotiating agreements and driving key initiatives both externally as well as internally.  Responsibilities include, managing partner interactions, driving cross-functional teams in new business opportunities and handling resolution of business issues with partners. We are seeking a proactive and organized individual with relevant experience in the wireless industry, to join our growing team. Candidate will need to have a good understanding of partner management with large complex organizations, contracts, financial analysis and good understanding of wireless technology. In addition the candidate will need to be able to clearly present to and negotiate with senior management level individuals.  Proactively follow market trends and conditions to enable better strategic decision making for current and future product opportunities.  Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.

To develop long-term, profitable business relationships with new and existing wireless partners, supporting the product and service organizations within our company.

Essential Job Functions:

* Interface directly with wireless operators, service providers, technology providers and internal customers on a daily basis. Reinforce long-term relationships with wireless operators and key players in the mobile industry
* Establish new relationships and manage existing relationships, building long-term relationships with senior management with target partners
* Manage different levels of relationships with the wireless operators, providing a consistent point of contact for the wireless operators with our company

* Disseminate knowledge and understanding of wireless operator strategies across the company as appropriate, drive initiatives across cross functional teams, internal and external
* Negotiate Agreements on behalf of multiple internal customers

Qualifications:

* BA/BS or equivalent
* A minimum 7-9 years of related experience
* A minimum of 7 years previous Partnership/Alliance management experience, including 5 years of related experience in wireless industry
* Direct relevant wireless carrier partnerships experience preferred, familiarity with operators and experience with carrier business models is also required
* Clear understanding of wireless carrier business, metrics and business drivers in addition to strong understanding of wireless technologies
* Proven negotiation and analytical skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with partners
* Strong partner management experience with focus on results
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging business opportunities with an integrated view of business, market, and technical factors
* Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
* Ability to quickly understand contractual terms with strong attention to detail
* Proven ability to think strategically and innovate
* Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
* Travel approximately 25%
