Position Purpose

The Director of Pricing Strategy is responsible for driving and executing the strategic vision for T-Mobile’s product, service, fees and hand-set pricing portfolio by delivering analysis and pricing for all products, policy changes, offers, promotions and that go to market. This leader drives the consumer view of all cash flow to T-Mobile and drives the strategic vision for consumer pricing.

Responsible for the development and management of all pricing teams and pricing initiatives related to rate plans, data, internet offerings, handsets, all-in-one devices and customers fees.

They lead the strategic pricing team in partnership with segment marketing teams to develop business cases and pricing recommendations for all promotions and offers including: consumer rate plans, business rate plans, underserved, prepaid, value added services and data services.

They lead the handset pricing strategy and analysis for the HS portfolio needs, partnering with the Director of HS, Channel and Supply Chain executive leadership. Delivering analysis and recommendations for quarterly portfolio pricing as well as all promotional and advertised offers.

Manage and lead cross functional effort to receive financial approval for pricing proposals from Marketing Senior Leadership Team, Corporate Strategy, Sales Channel and T-Mobile Executive Leadership Team. Support Marketing’s growth and profitability objectives by providing comprehensive post launch reporting and portolio reviews. Monitor competitive landscape to evaluate threats or opportunities and develop strategies for T-Mobile’s competitive response.

Pricing portfolio views - competitive, holistic price changes, product performance and recommendations to drive alternate pricing strategies. Delivers HS pricing strategy for TMO. Provides recommendations on current rate plan pricing portfolio to drive competitive offering and consumer demand. Drive a recommendation for consumer fee implementation. Deliver an open internet pricing strategy for consumers.

The role primarliy interacts with Segment VPs (Rate Plan), Sales VPs (HS), Care leadership (Fees); VP Customer Marketing, CMO
