WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY GROUP:
Our vision is to change the way we work, live, play, and learn. Mobility is becoming central to that vision, and we in the wireless business are uniquely well-positioned to innovate—in technology, solutions, and processes—in a way that delivers on those expectations and frees our customers to leverage the power of the network wherever they are, truly enabling the Human Network. The Wireless Technology Group comprises the Wireless Networking Business Unit (WNBU) — which is responsible for our market-leading portfolio of business- and service provider-class wireless LAN products, including wireless LAN mesh — and the Broadband Wireless Business Unit (BWBU) — which is responsible for our licensed wireless products, and was created with a recent acquisition. The Wireless Technology Group is part of the broader Access Networking & Services Business Group (ANSG), which comprises the Access Routing Technology Group, the Desktop Switching Business Unit, the Security Technology Group, as well as WTG.

While not mandatory, having expertise in device management and security is considered a plus.
Strong management skills are required. The Wireless CTO must be capable of balancing technology and management in order to optimize the effectiveness and development of the team.
